Einstein knew - so can you.

How many times have you tried to lose weight in an unsustainable way?
It's human nature to seek out shortcuts and an easy way out and marketers and the supplement industry make a killing every year abusing our innate wish to achieve our dreams through some quick-fix or pop-a-pill solution. When it comes to sustainable weight loss there's no such thing and most times it leaves us in a worse condition than before.

Most of us(me included) have tried every diet under the sun in hope of some miracle solution and sooner or later always end up back where we started. To reference the pic of Einstein - trying short sighted diet solutions again and again in hope of achieving a different result than last time.

So what is required to be able to consistently eat for good health and to achieve a body you can thrive in?
  • Shift in mindset - This change is permanent. You will eat well to be healthy and to achieve a body you're happy to live in. This will not stop, you will eat in a conscientious and liberating way for the rest of your life.
  • A Plan - you'll need a well structured plan. Step by step ways to gradually change your habits that will be ingrained in you where you have the freedom to enjoy all foods but also to be sensible and responsible.
  • Time. It takes time to learn new habits and figure out how your body works. What makes you feel strong, healthy and full of life?
  • A personal solution. There is not one way to eat or diet that is better than another, as individuals we respond differently to nutritional intake and you need to learn what works best for you.
  • Help. Information on it's own is useless. Most of us know what we should eat but struggle to put it all together in our day to day life. If your car breaks down - you go to a mechanic. If you want to learn a new language you take a language course. But if your body/diet is broken -  do you seek out a professional to coach you through your challenging journey or do you try that latest pill or the advice from some fit looking person in a magazine.
You can break the perpetual cycle of the fitness industry insanity. Give yourself time to think it through.
Will that new pill work(fingers crossed), maybe this time it will be different?
Will you try another short sighted quick-fix solution, maybe this time it will be different?
Does that impressive looking  person in the magazine know my situation and my personal circumstances?
Be honest and ask yourself - am I ready today to start a permanent positive change?
There's no easy solution but there are solutions - you just need to find yours.
